TAIE Basketball Enters a New Era with North Pole Hoops

This year marks a new chapter for the TAIE basketball team as the program takes a major step forward.

As part of this new chapter, the team has also undergone a rebrand and will now compete as the TAIE Legends.

The name “Legends” represents the kind of players we hope to develop — athletes who work hard, embrace challenges, support their teammates, and continue to grow with every practice and every game. More than simply playing the game, we want our students to build confidence, develop their skills, and create their own basketball journey along the way.

This season, TAIE Legends will also take on a new level of competition. The team has officially joined the North Pole Hoops (NPH) Showcase League for the 2026–27 season, giving our student-athletes the opportunity to compete in a structured Canadian youth basketball league and gain valuable experience through regular training and official games.

North Pole Hoops is a Canadian basketball platform focused on youth development, competition, scouting, and player exposure. Through its camps, tournaments, leagues, and broader basketball ecosystem, NPH provides aspiring student-athletes with opportunities to develop their skills and gain exposure as they pursue the next level of the game.

For TAIE students who are passionate about basketball, joining the NPH Showcase League means stepping into a more competitive environment where they can challenge themselves, compete against new opponents, and continue developing both on and off the court.
