Celebrating the Moon Festival at TAIE

With the Mid-Autumn Festival just around the corner, our TAIE community came together to celebrate an afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and cultural exchange.

The celebration gave our students a chance to enjoy hands-on activities while learning about different cultural traditions. Students tried their hand at Ddakji, a traditional Korean paper game, and created colourful lanterns to celebrate the season.

With students from different backgrounds joining in, the afternoon was a wonderful opportunity to share traditions, connect with one another, and create memories together. It was also a reminder of what makes our international school community so special — students can learn about cultures beyond their own while celebrating together.

At TAIE, we believe cultural celebrations are an important part of the student experience. They create opportunities for students to step outside the classroom, discover something new, and build connections with people from different backgrounds.

And perhaps that is what makes the Mid-Autumn Festival so special. No matter where we come from or where we are in the world, we’re always under the same moon.

Wishing our TAIE community and everyone celebrating a happy and meaningful Mid-Autumn Festival! 🏮
