At TAIE, diversity is part of everyday campus life. With students from more than 40 countries and regions, our community brings together different cultures, traditions, and perspectives — and that diversity can be found in some of the most everyday moments, including mealtimes.
To give students more variety in their dining experience, our school cafeteria has recently expanded its menu with new international flavours. One of our latest additions is a classic Turkish Chicken Tandır, served with buttery rice, fresh salad, hot soup, and dessert.
For us, introducing new dishes is about more than simply adding another option to the menu. It’s about creating opportunities for students to discover different cultures through food and making sure students from different backgrounds can find something they enjoy.
And this is just the beginning. We’ll continue listening to our students and taking their feedback into consideration as we explore more international flavours and dining options for our campus community.
Because sometimes, discovering a new culture can start with something as simple as sharing a meal.
Different cultures, different flavours, one TAIE community.
