Last week, our campus welcomed more than 50 visitors, and it was our TAIE Student Ambassadors who stepped forward to lead the entire experience. From the moment guests arrived, the ambassadors greeted them warmly and introduced the school with confidence and pride, immediately showing what kind of community TAIE truly is.
As they guided visitors through the gym, cafeteria, classrooms, labs, and art and music spaces, the ambassadors didn’t just describe the facilities — they shared their own learning experiences, memorable moments, and the growth they’ve experienced at TAIE. Their stories offered a genuine glimpse into daily life at the school and helped visitors understand what makes TAIE special. Many guests later said that hearing directly from the students made the tour feel personal and meaningful.
For the ambassadors, leading the tours was a valuable learning experience as well. Speaking in front of groups, answering questions, and representing the school helped them build confidence, communication skills, and a sense of leadership. Moments like these show how capable and mature our students are, and how much they grow when given the chance to lead.
The success of the event reminded us once again that student voice is at the heart of TAIE. Our ambassadors showed not only the best of the school, but also the best of themselves — their enthusiasm, responsibility, and pride. We are truly proud of their effort and grateful for the spirit they bring to our community.
