TAIE Programs ------ Graduate School Preparatory Courses

As lots of university graduates who plan to enter Canadian graduate schools are stuck overseas due to their lack of preparation, such as academic communication skills, notes taking, group project, reading speed, presentation skills, essay writing, research resources, after-class activity, knowing the culture, getting acquainted with the north American educational system, TAIE International Institute initiated the Graduate School Preparatory Courses Program. This program will make visa applicator with not english proficiency possible and will make it easier for admissions into Canadian graduate schools.

Recently, TAIE International Insititute has established some co-operative programs with some graduate schools in universities, which will allow students to apply and to get a conditional offer of admission before they get their English proficiency proof, and thus applicants can get about 6months for preparation and Writting any English proficiency test. If the English proficiency is good, the applicant can enter the graduate school at any one of the three points:May, September & January. and into one of four majors:

1.Master of Arts in Aboriginal Governace.

2.Master of Arts in English with a Focus on cultural Stuies.

3.Master of Science in Applied Computer Science and Society.

4.Master of Science in Bioscience, Technology and Public Policy.

This program will make applicants be able to enjoy TAIE counseling system in academic preparations and in applying to graduate schools. Counselling starts right from the first day of candidate's arrival on the campus. Since then the Counselor will take good care of the candidate's preparation processing until candidates enter graduate schools.

Counselor will help candidates decide from what course to start their preparation according to his/her English level assessment results. The purpose of the assessment is to make it possible for the candidate to get ready to enter graduate schools in the shortest time.

The GSPC program includes 8 subjects (about 8 months; total tuition fee is CAD10400.00 and total fee for room &board is CAD7,120, application Fees CAD450). Students with very poor English may need to take more subjects.
